The story of Piatta
“Two calm forms, nothing more needed.”
Piatta is a set of two — rounded, softly flattened forms that stand side by side like a pair of smooth river stones set upright. Their outlines are deliberately simple, so nothing distracts from the material itself.
Each is hand-shaped from acacia, and on such quiet surfaces the grain becomes the whole story: its waves, its tones, the small changes from one piece to the other.

Acacia wood, shaped by hand. Each form is carved, sanded and finished so the grain follows the line of the piece.
